01/xxxx- Keela is back with us available for adoption again. She is now 8 years old. Keela needs to be placed with an owner who has previous Doberman or large breed experience. ............................................................................................. 06/05/12- Keela has been adopted! .............................................................................................. 01/21/12- Keela is a 6 yr old blue female Doberman surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She weighs in at 68 lbs, and is docked and cropped (though her ears don't stand). She's very active, and would make a great walking companion. Keela needs a home without cats and small dogs. She would prefer to be an only dog so she can be the center of attention, but she does tolerate those around her. Since we don't know how she is with small children, we won't place her with kids under 8 yrs old. She's super sweet with people, and loves to be loved! Keela is housebroken and crate-trained. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and has had bloodwork done. She has the typical blue coat problems (Color Dilution Alopecia and hair loss), but is not nearly as bad as some of the blues we've seen. Her adoption fee is $150. All adoptions require an approved adoption application and a home visit. Email for details!
